Floria - Its all about Gardens and flowers!
Flowers! More flowers! All about flowers! Yes, that's what we are going to check out in this post - A visit to Floria 2014, Kula Lumpur.
We had been to Floria 2014 on the Sunday to view the garden and Flower exhibition in Putrajaya, KL. The exhibition was really loaded with a huge crowd; with people enjoying the flowers and posing for pictures; debating who is more beautiful.
Floria 2014 - The yearly flower and garden exhibition which happens in Kuala Lumpur happened this year during June (14-22 June 2014). This years exhibition themed as 'Mesmerizing colors' was truly an enchanting experience watching all the dangling flowers and the best designed gardens displayed. The exhibition showcased numerous varieties of Begonia species that are native to the tropical regions; with different designs, colors, sizes and shapes.
There are a whole lot of different garden exhibits like tea garden, school garden, outdoor marriage garden, love garden, recycle garden, pond garden, and the list goes on. There must really be a lot of hard work which went into this gardening. Although there was a variety of gardens displayed, I am going to show you some of the beautiful flowers I clicked throughout the visit.
Orange madness! What a vibrant color! |
As we were strolling through the gardens displayed, we were able to sit in the lawn beside the Putrajaya Lake and view the night glory of the lake. There were some neon color decorated ships which were ferrying passengers for sightseeing in the lake.
Putrajaya Bridge |
More Sunflowers! Bright yellow color was greeting us all the way in the side paths.
Whitish purple beauty! |
Look at those petals. |
Looking at these purple flowers in the below picture, I could reconnect with my childhood! Those were the days when we used to pluck this flower and offer it to the god. I was looking at them after a long time and could not resist without taking a picture of them.
Is it possible not to exhibit a butterfly if there are so much of flowers displayed? Here we go, look at this gigantic butterfly hovering above the gardens.
Recycle gardens were such a wonderful concept and we could see so many ways to use stuff that will be thrown to the dustbin. Look at this bottled plant.
Velvet beauty!
Oh the Begonias were eveywhere!
What creativity! It was truly a different thought to finish the final stretch of your journey with these decorated umbrella lamps! In one final sentence - worth taking your time to visit these beauties!
So, which was your favorite flower?
